1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Replai (“the App”), developed by FRQ Tools & Services, handles your information. We built Replai on a simple principle: your data belongs to you and stays on your device. Please read this policy carefully to understand what we collect, what we don’t, and how the App works.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
Replai does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:
- Your saved replies or AI prompt templates
- Your category names, icons, or colors
- Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
- Your location
- Your contacts or call logs
- Photos, media, or files beyond the backup file Replai itself creates
- Any usage analytics or behavioral data about how you use the App
No account or login is required. No data from inside the App is ever sent to our servers — because we don’t have any servers connected to Replai.
3. Data Stored on Your Device
All content you create in Replai — saved replies, AI prompts, and categories — is stored exclusively in a local database on your device (Room/SQLite). This data:
- Never leaves your device unless you manually export it
- Is automatically deleted when you uninstall the App (except for the backup file described below)
- Is never accessed by FRQ Tools & Services
Auto-Backup File:
Replai automatically saves a backup of your library to your device’s local storage.
This file remains on your device storage even after uninstalling the App, so your data can be restored on reinstall. This file is stored locally only — it is never uploaded anywhere.
4. Third-Party Services — Google AdMob
Replai is free to use and is supported by banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob.
AdMob may collect and use the following to serve relevant ads:
- Advertising ID (Google’s resettable device identifier)
- Device information (device model, OS version)
- IP address (approximate location for ad targeting)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
This data is collected and processed by Google, not by FRQ Tools & Services. We do not have access to this data.

You can reset or opt out of interest-based advertising at any time through your Android device settings:
Go to Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID (Android 12+) or Opt out of Ads Personalization (older versions).
5. Permissions Used
Replai requests the following device permissions:
INTERNET
Required for AdMob to load and display banner advertisements. The App itself does not use the internet for any other purpose.
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 9 and below only)
Required on older Android versions to save the auto-backup file to the Documents folder on your device. This permission is not required on Android 10 and above, where scoped storage is used instead.
No other permissions are requested or used.
6. Children’s Privacy
Replai is not designed for or directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used this App, please note that no personal data is collected or stored by us — only AdMob’s standard advertising identifier collection applies as described in Section 4.
7. Data Security
Since Replai stores all your data locally on your device, the security of your data is tied to the security of your device. We recommend:
- Keeping your device locked with a PIN, pattern, or biometric authentication
- Exporting a manual backup periodically using Replai’s built-in export feature
- Keeping your Android OS updated
FRQ Tools & Services has no access to your device or the data stored within the App.
8. Your Rights & Data Deletion
Since we collect no personal data ourselves, there is nothing for us to delete on our end. Your App data (replies, prompts, categories) is fully under your control:
- Delete all data: Uninstall the App. All local database data is removed automatically.
- Delete backup file: Manually delete the file at
Documents/ReplaiBackup/replai_auto_backup.jsonfrom your device storage. - Reset Advertising ID: Follow the steps in Section 4 to reset or opt out of Google’s ad tracking.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy — for example, if we add new features that change how data is handled — we will update the Last Updated date at the top of this page. We recommend checking this page when updating the App.
