Privacy Policy for FRQ SMS Sender

Last Updated: June 19, 2026

FRQ TOOLS (“we,” “our,” “us,” or “the Developer”) owns and operates the FRQ SMS Sender Android application (the “App,” package name com.frqtools.smssender). This Privacy Policy explains in detail what information the App accesses, why it accesses it, how it is processed, who it may be shared with, and what rights and controls you have over it.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please do not use the App.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies solely to the FRQ SMS Sender Android application and does not extend to any other product, website, or service offered by FRQ TOOLS unless explicitly stated. It governs data handling on Android devices running the App and covers permissions, on-device data, advertising data, and support communications.

2. Age Restriction & Target Audience

This App is strictly designed for and directed at individuals who are 18 years of age or older. The App is a bulk/group SMS dispatch utility intended for personal organization, small business communication, and marketing-style messaging by adult users. We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or target information from children under the age of 18, and the App is not listed or marketed in any Google Play “Families” category.

If we become aware that a user under the age of 18 has provided personal information through the App, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information and, where applicable, restrict access to the App from that user.

3. Information We Collect & Why We Need It

The App requests specific high-privilege Android system permissions because they are core to its function as an SMS dispatch tool. All permission-derived data is processed locally on your device. We do not operate a backend server that stores your messages, contacts, or phone identifiers.

3.1 SMS Permissions (SEND_SMS, RECEIVE_SMS, READ_SMS, WRITE_SMS)

These permissions allow the App to:

  • Compose and send individual or bulk/group SMS and MMS messages on your behalf, to recipients you select.
  • Read delivery status and incoming replies so you can track campaign responses within the App.
  • Write sent-message records to your device’s default SMS storage so your message history stays consistent with your native Messages app.

None of your sent or received SMS content, message metadata, or recipient lists generated through these permissions are transmitted to, stored on, or accessible by FRQ TOOLS servers. All processing for these features happens exclusively on your device.

3.2 Contacts Access (READ_CONTACTS)

This permission allows the App to read names and phone numbers from your on-device address book so that you can select recipients for your messages or groups directly within the App’s interface. Your contact list is read locally for display and selection purposes only. It is never uploaded, synced to the cloud, sold, or shared with any third party, including our advertising partners.

3.3 Phone State (READ_PHONE_STATE)

This permission is used solely to detect active SIM slots on dual-SIM devices, so the App can correctly route outgoing messages through the SIM you select. It is not used to collect your phone number, IMEI, or call activity for any other purpose.

3.4 Device & Usage Data (Non-Personal)

Like most Android apps, the App may receive limited technical data automatically from the Android operating system and Google Play services, such as crash logs, App version, and basic device model information, for the sole purpose of diagnosing technical issues and improving stability. This data is aggregate and not used to identify you personally.

4. How We Use the Information We Access

Information accessed via the permissions above is used exclusively to:

  • Operate the App’s core SMS sending, receiving, and contact-selection features.
  • Maintain accurate, real-time delivery and campaign status within the App.
  • Diagnose crashes and technical issues to improve App stability and performance.
  • Display relevant, non-intrusive advertisements via Google AdMob (see Section 5).

We do not use your contacts, message content, or phone state data for profiling, resale, marketing analytics, or any purpose unrelated to the App’s stated functionality.

5. Third-Party Services and Advertisements

To keep the App free of charge, we display advertisements using Google AdMob (Publisher ID: pub-3115284565596803). AdMob uses third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) that automatically collect certain device data to deliver relevant, non-intrusive ads.

5.1 Information Collected by AdMob

  • Google Advertising ID (GAID)
  • IP address and approximate cellular/network-based location
  • Device brand, model, operating system version, and screen density
  • App-interaction telemetry logs (e.g., ad impressions, clicks, session length)

This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google’s own privacy and advertising policies, not by FRQ TOOLS directly. We do not have access to, and do not store, the raw advertising data collected by the AdMob SDK.

5.2 Reference Policies

5.3 No Sale of Personal Data

FRQ TOOLS does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, contacts, or message content to third parties for monetary or other consideration.

6. Data Storage, Security & Retention

Because SMS content, contact selections, and phone state data are processed locally on your device and not transmitted to any FRQ TOOLS server, there is no centralized database of your personal data for us to retain or that could be breached on our end. Data persists on your device only for as long as the App is installed and according to your device’s own storage settings.

If you contact us for support (see Section 8), any information you voluntarily share during that conversation is retained only as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry, after which it may be deleted at our discretion.

7. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following limited circumstances:

  • Advertising partners (Google AdMob): as described in Section 5, limited to device/advertising identifiers collected directly by the AdMob SDK — not by us.
  • Legal compliance: if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of FRQ TOOLS, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality obligations.

Outside of these circumstances, your SMS content, contacts, and phone state data remain on your device and under your control.

8. Direct Support Communications

If you contact us via WhatsApp Support (e.g., using wa.me/923252604441) or through our Google Play developer page, any information you voluntarily provide — such as your name, issue description, or screenshots — is treated as confidential and used solely to investigate and resolve your specific inquiry. We do not use support communications for marketing or share them with third parties.

9. International Users & Data Transfers

The App is operated from Pakistan. If you use the App from outside Pakistan, please be aware that any limited data processed by our advertising partner (Google AdMob) may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, in accordance with Google’s global infrastructure and policies. By using the App, you consent to this processing as described in this Privacy Policy.

10. Your Rights & Choices

  • Permission Retraction: You may enable or disable Contacts, SMS, or Phone State permissions at any time via Android Settings > Apps > FRQ SMS Sender > Permissions. Disabling essential permissions may stop the corresponding App feature from functioning.
  • Opt-Out of Personalized Ads: You can reset or limit your Advertising ID via Settings > Google > Ads > Reset advertising ID / Opt out of Ads Personalization on your Android device.
  • Uninstallation: Uninstalling the App removes all App-specific local data from your device, including any cached preferences. Your native SMS and Contacts data, which belong to your device’s Android system rather than the App, are unaffected.
  • Access & Deletion Requests: Since we do not store your contacts or message content on any server, there is no remotely-held personal data for us to provide or delete on your behalf. For any data you believe we may hold (e.g., support chat logs), you may request access or deletion by contacting us at the details in Section 12.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App’s functionality, legal requirements, or our data practices. Material changes will be communicated by updating the “Last Updated” date above and, where appropriate, posting a notice inside the App or on our Google Play Store listing. Your continued use of the App after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
