How we collect, use and protect your information when you use frqtools.com.

- Most tools run in your browser. Your files are not uploaded.

This Privacy Policy explains what information FRQ Tools & Services ("FRQ Tools", "we", "us") collects when you use frqtools.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. FRQ Tools is run by Fazal Ur Rehman from Lahore, Pakistan, and serves people worldwide.
Our Android apps have their own privacy policies. You can find them in the section "Our mobile apps" below.
Who is responsible for your data

Free online tools
Most of our tools (for example the image compressor, image to PDF converter and typing tests) run inside your browser. The files, text and images you use with these tools are processed on your own device and are not uploaded to our server.
Some features need our server to work. When this is the case, we say so on the tool page. For example:
- Trackable QR codes: when you create one, we save the destination (for example a website link or WhatsApp number), the design you chose and your account. We count scans and the day they happened. We do not store the scanner's identity.
- Tool usage counts: we keep a simple count of how often each tool is used, without linking it to you.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
- Orders and payments: what you bought, the price, your payment method and, for bank or wallet transfers, the receipt you upload and the transaction details you enter. We never see or store your full card number. Card payments are handled by PayFast.
- Messages and quote requests: what you send through our forms, by email or on WhatsApp, such as your name, phone number and project details.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and the website that sent you to us. Our server keeps short-term logs for security.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see the section on cookies below and our Cookie Policy.
- Campaign data: if you arrive from an ad or a tagged link, we may store the campaign tags (such as utm_source, gclid or fbclid) with your order or request, so we know which campaign worked.
How we use your information
- To run your account, process orders, unlock downloads and memberships, and keep a record of your purchases.
- To check payment receipts and stop fraud, such as reused or fake receipts.
- To reply to your questions and quote requests.
- To send emails about your account and orders (for example payment approved, plan ending soon). We only send marketing emails if you asked for them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
- To understand how the website is used and improve it.
- To measure our advertising, and with your consent, show relevant ads.
- To meet legal duties and protect our rights.
Cookies, analytics and ads
We use a small number of cookies that the site needs to work (for example to keep you signed in and to protect forms). These are always on.
With your consent, we also use:
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand visits and improve pages.
- Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads. When you buy something, we may send Meta the purchase value and a scrambled (hashed) version of your email so the sale can be matched to an ad.
- Google AdSense to show ads on some tool and blog pages. Google may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites.
- OneSignal for web push notifications, only if you agree to receive them in your browser.
You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, these tools stay off until you agree. You can also opt out of personalised Google ads at adssettings.google.com.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website, and only as much as they need:
- Hostinger (website hosting and email).
- PayFast (card and wallet payments).
- Google (sign in with Google, analytics, ads) and Meta (ad measurement), as described above.
- OneSignal (push notifications, if you opted in).
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our users or our rights. If the business is ever sold, your data would move to the new owner under this same policy.
International transfers
We are based in Pakistan, and some of our providers process data in other countries, including the United States and the European Union. When we use these providers, we rely on their standard safeguards for international transfers.
How long we keep your data
- Account data: while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it within 30 days, except what we must keep by law.
- Orders, payments and receipts: up to 6 years, for tax and accounting records.
- Messages and quote requests: up to 2 years after our last contact.
- Server security logs: up to 90 days.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, download a copy, object to some uses, or withdraw consent. To use any of these rights, email contact@frqtools.com from the email address on your account. We reply within 30 days.
You can update your name and details at any time in your account.
Security
We use HTTPS on every page, store passwords only as secure hashes, keep payment receipts in a private area that is not open to the internet, and limit admin access. No system is completely safe, so please use a strong password and keep it private.
Children
Our website is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. Purchases and paid plans are for adults only. If you think a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services change. We will change the "Last updated" date at the top, and for important changes we will show a notice on the website or email account holders.
