Questions people ask

How do I sign a PDF online for free?

Sign in free, add your PDF, click Signature, draw or type your signature, drag it into place and click Save signed PDF.

Is my signature saved anywhere?

Only if you leave "Remember on this device" on, and then only in your own browser. It is never sent to our server. You can remove saved signatures any time.

Can I upload a photo of my real signature?

Yes. Sign on white paper, take a photo, and choose it under Upload. We remove the white paper so only the ink shows.

Can I fill in text and dates too?

Yes. Use Text to type anywhere on the page, Date for today's date, and the tick for check boxes.

Is this a legal digital signature?

It is an electronic signature, the same as signing on paper and scanning it, which is accepted for most everyday forms and agreements. It is not a certificate based digital signature. For court or government papers, check what they accept.

Why do I need an account?

The account is free and takes seconds with Google. Your PDF and signature still stay on your device.
